Real Pilates® Teacher Training

As most of you know, I have been searching for Pilates teachers for several months.  It seems that the best way to get quality teachers is to be able to offer an outstanding Teacher Training program myself.  I have partnered with Real Pilates®, a globally recognized studio in NYC, to offer their certification program here in Charlottesville.  I chose Real Pilates because of it’s pure, classical Pilates approach and style. The curriculum is designed by Alycea Ungaro, a second generation teacher and Physical Therapist who studied directly under Romana Kryzanowska, who was Joe Pilates’ chosen protégée.

I will begin the program with two or three individuals at the end of January.  Once I complete it, QMS will be a Host Studio for Real Pilates and I will begin to offer the program at my studio.  I will explain more about what this entails for the studio atmosphere in January and February.
